From Fresh to Salt Water Fishing Icy Bay Lodge has the best of both worlds. In a short ride about one hour, in our 35 ft Aluminum twin engine charter vessel we are fishing untouched prime fishing areas. The best thing is that we are the only boat fishing these areas and they are faily close to the lodge. No four hour trips in a slow boat to fish 400ft of water! We cruise about 30 knts and drop our lines in 100-200ft of water.
We promote catch and release, but we do process your catch. We filet, vacume seal and freeze your catch. On average you will be allowed to take home 50 pounds of pure filets.

SAMPLE TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival to Yakutat. Meet and greet by staff. Transfer to lodge. Start fishing!
Day 2-7: Six full days of fishing.
Day 8: Non -Fishing day, transfer to airport. Fly out of Yakutat via Commercial Airline.
