If you want to experience a true Alaskan Adventure, George Davis and seasoned crew are ready to take you on an adventure of a lifetime for a limited number of 12 guests a week.
From Yakutat to Icy Bay we are fishing the Pristine waters of the Gulf of Alaska and the rivers that flow into her. These wild rivers on Alaska's "LOST COAST" are teaming with thousands of Salmon.
In this unique area we have the best of both worlds. We are using conventional gear and Fly Fishing for Trophy Halibut, Ling Cod, and Rockfish. Along with bottom fishing we troll and mooch for Ocean Bright King and Silver Salmon.
At our remote Icy Bay Lodge we offer Exclusive Cutting Edge Excursions, with no outside intrusion. We literally boast the Best Silver Salmon Fishing in the World, On Dry Flies if you Dare!
Lodging ranges from a local inn for people overnighting in Yakutat. Our cozy, comfortable heated double occupancy cabins are equipped with private bathrooms. Our Main Lodge is a great atmosphere to tell stories after an exciting day by a nastalgic wood stove. Our lodge has an office equipped with a computer connected to high speed satellite internet for your use.
Transportation to Yakutat is via Alaska Airlines Jet. Once you arrive to Yakutat, you will be met by one of our friendly staff. We use Cessna 206, 185, and De Haviland Beaver Aircraft to get you to our Icy Bay Lodge. The 30 minute flight is spectacular, with views of Glaciers, Wildlife, and Mt. St. Elias at 18,000f. This Sapphire Gem over looks Icy Bay and the Gulf of Alaska. This area is quoted by National Geographic to be one of the Worlds 10 Treasures.
